Tree & Plant Health Care
Diagnosis, treatment, and a health program built for what's growing on your lot.
Emerald ash borer and oak wilt are the two we hear about most at the Lake. We treat both, along with the pests, disease and feeding a property actually needs.
Chapter 01
The two we get called about most.
Emerald ash borer and oak wilt account for more of these calls than everything else combined. Both are treatable, and the earlier we look at a tree, the more options there are for it. We diagnose what's actually affecting the tree first, then treat for that, rather than starting with one spray for everything.
If you're not sure which one you're looking at, or whether it's either of them, that's exactly what the evaluation is for. Call and we'll come take a look.

Pests and disease more broadly, and fertilization.
Ash borer and oak wilt are the two names people already know, but they aren't the only thing we treat. We handle invasive pests and disease more broadly across a property, and fertilization alongside it, so a tree fighting off a problem also has what it needs to recover.
Pest control and disease treatment work best paired with feeding, not as separate jobs done on separate days, so we look at a property as a whole rather than one tree at a time.
Chapter 03
A custom health program.
Two properties a mile apart on the lake can have completely different trees, soil, and sun, so we don't run one health program for every yard. What we recommend is built around what's actually growing on your property and what shape it's in right now.
That starts the same way everything else does: a free, on site evaluation, usually scheduled within the week.
The 3 guys that took out 2 trees at our lake house were awesome. Efficient, quick, and not 1 branch was left behind. They did a great job of cleaning the area before they left. (Mary Grace Hynes, Google review)
If something doesn't look right
A tree that's struggling usually shows it before it's an emergency.
If something on the property looks off to you, that's worth a call before it turns into a bigger, more expensive job. Bring us in early and there are more options for the tree, not fewer.
