Chapter 01
When a tree has to come down
Most of the calls we get for a removal come down to one of a handful of things: a main trunk that has started to decay, root rot working underneath a tree that still looks fine from the driveway, or a tree that is plainly dead or dying and standing too close to something that matters. We look at the whole tree before we tell you it has to come out, not just the branch somebody noticed.
The other reason we get called is new construction. If a lot is being cleared for a build, an addition or a driveway, we take down whatever is in the footprint, residential or commercial, and leave the site ready for whoever is coming in behind us.

Spikes only on removals
Our climbers do not put spikes into a tree that is staying. A spike wound does not heal the way a pruning cut does. It stays with a living tree for the rest of its life, which is a strange thing to do to a tree you are paying somebody to take care of.
Spikes come out for one reason only: the tree is coming down anyway. If you ever see one of our climbers spiked into a tree on your property, that tree is scheduled for removal, not trimming.
Chapter 03
What is left behind
When the cutting is done, the debris goes with us. Limbs, brush and the cut sections all get hauled off the property and the site gets cleared before the truck leaves, whether it is a backyard removal or a commercial lot.
We treat a homeowner's yard and a construction site the same way. Nothing gets left behind for somebody else to deal with.
The estimate
Estimates are free and we do them in person, standing at the tree with you rather than guessing from a photo. Most of the time we can get a bid and a scheduled date within a week of your call.
